Vintage XL Glass Pitcher

A big, bold 1960s pitcher in swirls of pink and white. It's cased glass, which means layers of glass fused together (here, color over a clear layer), so the color has real depth. The handle is clear glass and was applied by hand, and the sides have two smooth oval dimples that catch the light and fit your fingers.

We love it filled with rose, sangria, or lemonade on a table set for friends. It's also pretty on a bar cart, and without any liquid at all it makes a very good vase for a big armful of flowers or branches.

It's the kind of pitcher that makes people ask where you found it.
