Lavender and green are having a moment in the shop. Come see it IRL!
For those of you who have shopped in our Osterville (Cape Cod) store, you know I love to have a table set to showcase a color/theme/pattern/vibe that I'm feeling for the moment. March in New England feels endless, especially as it bleeds into April and it still feels like March. I decided that this March I would lean into a vibrant and fun color combo to brighten things up and give us glimmers of what's to (eventually) come.
The cloth and napkins are a gorgeous new pattern from Zsuzsannah Nyul. I find it so springy and happy. Woven placemats to bring some texture and "natural-ness" to the verdant cloth. The placemats also ground the plates that could look lost otherwise on the table. White plates with a bit of texture now pop against the placemats and showcase the pretty napkins and fun Mexican bowls. Lime green flatware adds the final pop of color - these French place settings are fabulous and dishwasher safe!
For the centerpiece, I simply took some hellebore from the grocery store and potted it in a pretty bowl. You can't see the bowl very well in this photo, but is a cool textured "feathery" bowl.
The best part about the tables set in the store.... When the look sells and I get to create the next one. What should that one be?!
