Melissa's August Favorites

So sorry for the delay with this one. I was traveling at the beginning of the month and am just getting caught up! Anyway, here is this month's roundup!

I'm soaking up every last al fresco moment as summer winds down (I can't believe I'm saying that) and setting the table to match...of course. August's favorites are inspired by cool blues, playful speckles, and easy entertaining, from statement serveware to a cookbook that's pure delicious (Salad Freak is a current go-to). Whether you're hosting a late summer party or just making your everyday feel a little more special, these pieces bring beauty and function in equal measure. Keep scrolling for my notes on each!

Starting with the Speckles

At the top of my list? Everything speckled. This line of pieces are artful, relaxed, and endlessly useful (especially when serving a big, shareable salad!). The turquoise and white glaze is just the right amount of breezy and modern coastal.

The MVP of Summer Hosting

And if you’re looking for one piece that does it all, I can’t recommend the Versailles Acrylic Tray enough. It’s generously sized, incredibly durable, and somehow works just as well for serving drinks as it does corralling essentials on your kitchen counter or coffee table.

Playful Layers for Late Summer Hosting

When it comes to layering the table, I’m loving the soft lapis tones of our Tuileries Napkin Set or the vibrant pops from the Colorwheel Placemats. Both are polished and joyful—just right for one of those last lingering summer dinners on the patio. Take your vibe pick!

The Cookbook I Can’t Stop Reaching For

I’d be amiss not to mention Salad Freak in my favorites. Hands down the best cookbook of the summer. It’s full of gorgeous, produce-driven recipes that feel elevated but totally doable. It’s organized by season, so you’ll be reaching for it well into fall, winter, and spring too.
